ReadySplit is, and always will be, completely free. We designed the app to be highly resource-efficient, so it costs us very little to host and run.
What do you do with my data?
Our full privacy policy is linked here, but the short version is: we will never sell your data. We may use fully anonymized, aggregated data to improve the app, and we might occasionally need to inspect production data to debug and fix issues.
Is this app written by AI? Is it safe to use?
While we use AI coding assistants to help build ReadySplit, every line of code and architectural decision is thoroughly reviewed by a human. It's built with security in mind, leaning on proven and secure cloud infrastructure.
Is there a mobile app I can install?
Not right now. If there's enough demand, we might build one down the road, but for now, the web app is optimized to work beautifully on mobile browsers.
Does ReadySplit send notifications?
Not currently. Since we don't have a native mobile app and don't collect your email, we literally have no way to spam or nudge you.
How accurate is ReadySplit?
Since money can only be split down to the nearest cent (or your local currency's smallest unit), balances might occasionally differ by a cent from what you would expect. When an expense can't be divided perfectly, ReadySplit rounds in favor of the lender(s).
